The heart and soul of Wowd is formed by a team of extremely talented software developers, based in Serbia. Members of the Wowd software team have earned medals in various mathematics Olympiads throughout Europe, and it's their understanding of handling data at a planetary scale that has made Wowd possible.

Executive Team
		Dr. Borislav Agapiev Founder, Chief Technology Officer, and VP of Search Boris was previously Founder and CTO at Vast, Inc., a successful online classifieds search company. At Vast, he created and led the development of their deep web crawler. Prior to Vast, he worked at Intel, where he was on the team that developed the P6 microprocessor. Boris has a bachelors degree from the University of Belgrade, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Oregon Health & Science University. 		Mark Drummond CEO Mark was Executive Director at SRI International where he managed new ventures and licensing. Prior to this, he was Director of Mission Technology at NASA (JPL & Ames) working on mission technology for Mars surface operations. Before this, Mark was Founder and CEO of Enviz (sold to Keynote Systems), one of the first companies to offer web performance tools that delivered business insight. He was also Founder and CTO at Timedance (sold to TimeBridge,) and VP of Product Development at TYECIN Systems (sold to Manugistics). Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. 		Bill York VP of Engineering and Operations Bill was a Founder, CTO, and SVP of Product Development at Comergent (sold to Sterling Software,) an enterprise e-commerce software company. Bill led Comergent’s product development efforts from its founding through to its sale to Sterling Software. Prior to Comergent, Bill was at Xerox PARC where he did advanced user interface research. He was also part of the founding team of InXight, a company spun out of PARC. Prior to this, Bill worked at several companies in the Artificial Intelligence space. Bill has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from MIT and holds various patents. Bill’s favorite search terms include: cars, movies and gadget reviews.
		Susan Doherty Chief Marketing Officer She was a Founder and VP of Marketing at Picateers, an online portrait company. She was also VP of Marketing at Enviz (sold to Keynote), and the first marketing executive at eGroups (sold to Yahoo!). At eGroups, she helped grow the company to over 15 million users in less than two years. Prior to eGroups, she was Group Marketing Manager at Intuit where she helped drive the QuickBooks business to #1 in its category. Susan has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College, a Masters degree in Engineering from Duke University, and an MBA from Stanford Business School. 		Ben Tarabar Country Manager Ben Tarabar is the Wowd Country Manager, and is based in Wowd's Belgrade office. He provides the senior leadership required for all of Wowd's Serbian operations. Prior to joining Wowd Ben was IT manager and head of IT and engineering teams in the security industry for almost two decades. He has a background in real-time programming, and an MS degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Ben's favorite search terms have to do with computer hardware, muscle cars and sailing.
		Gary J. Sanders Advising Chief Financial Officer Gary is Chief Financial Officer at Fox Technologies. Prior to Fox, Gary was Chief Financial Officer at Cydelity (sold to Digital Envoy.) Prior to this Gary was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Enviz, Inc (sold to Keynote.) In addition, Gary has held executive positions at Colo.com, Optimal Networks, Tyecin Systems, Luxcom Inc., and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Gary has a proven track record of administration, management, financial reporting, and investor relations. Gary holds an M.B.A. as well as a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
